M276 Catless Downpipes for Mercedes-AMG C43 / E43 / E450 (2015–2023)
M276 Catless Downpipes for Mercedes-AMG C43 / E43 / E450 (2015–2023)

These 304 stainless steel catless downpipes replace the restrictive factory catalytic converters on the M276 3.0L BiTurbo V6. They significantly improve exhaust flow, enable faster turbo spool, and deliver sharper throttle response while offering excellent build quality at a much better value than big-name tuners.
Bare, Ceramic or Heat-Shielded — Which One?
All three share the same catless core and the same flow. What separates them is how each one handles heat.
| Finish | What it does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
|
Raw stainless this listing — Heat Shielding: No |
Bare 304 stainless, no thermal treatment. Full flow, lowest cost. | Track cars with cooling already sorted, and budget-led builds. |
|
Heat shielded this listing — Heat Shielding: Yes |
Thermal shields over the pipe. Keeps heat in the exhaust stream and cuts radiant heat soak into the bay. | Daily drivers, hot climates, and anywhere wiring or sensors sit close to the pipe. |
|
Ceramic + flex separate listing → |
Coating retains heat like shielding, plus flex joints at both ends that absorb engine movement and thermal expansion. | High-mileage cars, and anyone who has cracked a rigid downpipe at the flange before. |

Real M276 Exhaust Sound
Key Features & Benefits
- Reduced Exhaust Backpressure — Allows the turbos to spool more efficiently and build boost faster under load
- Precision TIG Welds & Machined Flanges — Creates strong, leak-free connections with exact factory fitment
- Bolt-on V-Band Design — Simple installation in 2–3 hours with no cutting or modifications required
- Heavy-Wall 304 Stainless Steel — High-quality material selected for heat resistance and long-term durability
Performance Gains
- Downpipes only: +15–20 HP / +20–30 lb-ft
- With the ECU tune option: up to 485 HP / 530 lb-ft
Build It Right the First Time — Two Options Above
Add ECU Tune. Downpipes are the hardware half of a Stage 2 M276 — the tune is what turns them loose. On their own they add a solid +15–20 HP, but with the calibration the same car climbs toward 485 HP / 530 lb-ft, and the tune clears the check-engine light the catless design will otherwise set. Selecting it here means your calibration is built around the hardware from day one instead of paying for a re-flash later.
Add Heat Shielding. Integrated thermal shielding keeps heat in the exhaust stream for quicker spool and drops radiant heat soak into the engine bay — worth it on a daily-driven car or anywhere hot.
What Else Owners Add At The Same Time
- 24″ O₂ sensor extension harness — catless pipes move the sensor bungs, and factory leads often will not reach. Cheap, and the thing most likely to stall an install halfway
- Blow-off valve adapter — audible boost release, straightforward add while the intake side is accessible
- Stainless braided brake lines — firmer pedal to match the extra power; the W205 C43 / C450 kit
- Standalone M276 ECU tune — if you would rather buy the calibration separately from the downpipes

Compatibility
| Chassis | Years | Models |
|---|---|---|
| W205 / C205 / A205 | 2015–2023 | C400, C450 AMG, C43 AMG |
| W213 / C238 / A238 | 2016–2023 | E400, E450, E43 AMG |
If your model is listed, these bolt on with zero fabrication required.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do these require a tune?
They work well on stock vehicles. A tune is highly recommended for maximum performance and to clear fault codes — you can add it directly above.
Are they catless?
Yes — fully catless. Intended for off-road, track, and racing use only. Not legal for street use in emissions-tested areas.
Will I get a check engine light?
Removing the catalytic converters will typically set a catalyst-efficiency code on an untuned car. A tune clears this properly — we do not recommend defeat devices.
Do I need the O₂ sensor extension harness?
Often, yes. A catless downpipe repositions the sensor bungs relative to the factory pipe, and the original leads may not reach comfortably. A 24″ extension avoids stretching or splicing the harness — it is a small part that prevents a stalled install.
Will they fit my exact vehicle?
These fit the W205 / C205 / A205 C400, C450 AMG and C43 AMG (2015–2023), and the W213 / C238 / A238 E400, E450 and E43 AMG (2016–2023) — all with the M276 3.0L BiTurbo V6. If your car is on that list, it bolts straight on with no cutting. Not sure? Send us your VIN and we will confirm before you order.
How long does installation take?
Professional shops typically complete the install in 2–3 hours. The V-band design means no cutting or welding.
