Engine oil dipstick for Mercedes-Benz part number 2700104101 — the M270 and M133 2.0L four-cylinder engines fitted to the CLA and GLA. These cars left the factory without a permanent dipstick; the level is read on the dash. This is the physical tool for checking it properly, and for confirming the electronic reading when you suspect it is wrong.

How to Use It
Run the engine to operating temperature, shut it off and leave it five minutes on level ground so the oil drains back. Insert fully, withdraw, wipe, insert fully again and read. Reading cold, or immediately after shutdown, is the most common reason a level looks low when it is not.
