Mercedes fuel cap fitment depends on factory option codes as well as model and year. This cap is for vehicles built with option code 916. It does not fit vehicles with code 801 or 802, or vehicles configured for ethanol fuel (codes 929 / 933). If you are unsure, send us your VIN and we will confirm before you order.

Installation
Remove the old cap, inspect the filler neck for debris or damage, fit the new cap and tighten until it clicks. Many EVAP-related check engine lights clear after several drive cycles.
