A custom ECU calibration for the Mercedes M111 supercharged four, written around your specific car, fuel and hardware rather than pulled off a shelf. Sharper throttle, stronger mid-range, and cleaner delivery — with every factory safety system left intact.

Typical Gains

+15 to +20 HP and +20 to +25 lb-ft from the calibration alone, on a healthy stock car running premium fuel.

Here is why that number is not bigger. The Eaton blower on an M111 is geared directly to the crank, so a calibration can sharpen ignition timing, fuelling and throttle mapping, but it cannot make the supercharger move more air. On this platform the pulley is the bigger lever. Fit a reduction pulley and recalibrate around it and the two together are worth far more than either on its own — tell us if one is going on and we will write the file for it from the start rather than tuning the car twice.

What the Tune Delivers

  • Stronger mid-range torque — where a supercharged four actually lives in street driving
  • Sharper throttle response — less pedal lag off idle and out of corners
  • Calibrated around your hardware — pulley, intake, exhaust, injectors, whatever is already on the car
  • Factory safeguards retained — knock control and thermal limits stay active

Vehicle Compatibility

This calibration is for the M111 supercharged engine — both the 2.3L and the 2.0L Kompressor.

Model Chassis Years Engine
SLK230 Kompressor R170 1997–2004 M111 2.3L supercharged
C230 Kompressor W202 1997–2000 M111 2.3L supercharged
C230 Kompressor Sports Coupe CL203 2002–2003 M111 2.3L supercharged

Two Things to Check Before You Order

Which engine you have. The C230 Kompressor was sold with two unrelated engines. The early cars are M111; the Sports Coupe moved to the M271 1.8L around the 2003 model year and the sedan and wagon followed for 2004. Displacement is what decides it — 2.3L is M111, 1.8L is M271. Every R170 SLK is M111, whatever you may have read; the M271 did not arrive in the SLK until the R171 in 2004. Running the 1.8L? Use the M271 tune instead.

Which ECU you have. Later M111 cars use a Siemens SIM4LE, which reads and writes cleanly. Earlier cars run different engine management and are not always supported. Send us your VIN before you order and we will confirm your ECU is one we can flash — we would rather tell you no up front than take an order we cannot fill.

What's Included

  • Custom calibration developed for your car, fuel grade and modification list
  • Return-to-stock file
  • Direct support through the flash process

Before You Order

Tell us your model, year, transmission, fuel grade (91 or 93 octane) and any existing modifications — pulley, intake, exhaust, injectors. These cars are twenty years old and more, so mechanical condition matters: a calibration will not mask a slipping supercharger, a tired MAF or a vacuum leak. Figures above are typical, not guaranteed, and vary with fuel quality, ambient conditions and the health of the engine.
